What Readers say
“Anita Baarns is an extraordinary and gifted artist. Nothing is more challenging than capturing and expressing on a canvass the spirit and personalities of dogs or horses. I know because she did a portrait of our two labradors. It was brilliant work. Anita Baarns is our era’s George Stubbs and Edwin Landseer. Her book is a must read for anyone who appreciates great art and loves dogs or horses.”

Your book is absolutely touching and SO beautiful! Your paintings and drawings evoke such memories of the past, some very happy and some so sad…. I and many others are thrilled of course, you decided to focus on the animals instead of abstract. You pay such tribute and give such honor to these wonderful companions and partners that will be in our hearts forever!!!
